Medicar's service area includes journeys to hospitals, hospices, care homes, nursing homes and private addresses. A location being inside the coverage area does not by itself confirm suitability; the transport assessment still applies.
Cross-county hospital discharge
Hospital discharge commonly crosses local boundaries. A patient may leave a hospital in Cambridge, Norwich, London or Essex and travel to a home or care setting elsewhere. The ward and receiving contact should agree the handover plan.
Request an exact journey quotation
Provide both postcodes, timing, passenger requirements and access details. This gives Medicar enough information to assess the route rather than relying on a mileage estimate alone.
